Our Services
Remodeling, Repairs and Everything Between
Six things we do, done properly. If what you need is not on this list, ask anyway —
after 20+ years there is not much around a house
Greg has not already dealt with.
Floors, showers, backsplashes and custom patterns set straight, level and built to last.
Tile is where sloppy work shows up first and fails fastest. Every job starts with proper substrate prep — backer board, waterproofing membrane and a flat, level base — before a single tile goes down. Porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, large-format and mosaic, all set with the right mortar for the material and the room.
Heated floor systems set over your tile underlayment
Grout, caulk and re-seal refresh on existing tile
Deck Building & Repair
New builds, rebuilds and rescues — framed to code and finished for mountain weather.
Decks in the Smokies take a beating: sun, rain, freeze-thaw, and in cabin country, a lot of foot traffic. Framing is built to code with proper footings, flashing and fasteners, then finished in the material you want. If your existing deck is sound underneath, a resurface costs far less than a rebuild — and that gets said honestly up front.
From a cabinet-and-counter refresh to a full layout change, run start to finish.
Kitchens are the highest-value room in a remodel and the easiest one to get wrong. Work is sequenced so the room is out of service for the shortest time possible, and the scope is written down before demo starts so there are no invented surprises halfway through.
Layout changes, island builds and pantry conversions
Licensed plumbing and electrical brought in where required
Bathroom Remodeling
Tile showers, vanities and full gut-and-rebuilds done right behind the walls.
A bathroom is a wet box, and everything that matters happens behind the tile. Pans get sloped correctly, membranes get tested before tile, and vanities get set level and sealed. Small hall baths through full primary suites, plus quick-turn refreshes for rental cabins between bookings.
The punch list nobody else will show up for — one call, one crew, done.
Not every job is a remodel. A lot of what keeps a home or rental cabin running is a list of small things: a door that sticks, trim that pulled away, a railing that wobbled loose, drywall that needs patching before the next guest checks in. Those get handled too, and they get handled on schedule.

Flooring & Interior Finishes
LVP, hardwood, trim and finish carpentry that makes the whole room read clean.
Flooring sets the tone for everything above it. Subfloors get checked for flatness and squeak before install, transitions get planned instead of improvised, and trim gets scribed to the wall rather than caulked into submission.
The most common complaint people have about contractors is not the price —
it is not knowing what is happening. Here is exactly how a job runs.
1. The Walkthrough
Greg comes out, looks at the actual conditions, and asks what you want out of the
space. Free, no obligation, and no pressure to sign anything on the spot.
2. A Written Estimate
You get a scope in writing: what is included, what is not, what materials are
allowed for, and what the schedule looks like. Questions get answered before
anyone picks up a hammer.
3. The Work
Trades sequenced so the room is out of service for the shortest time possible.
Site swept at the end of each day. If something unexpected turns up behind a
wall, you hear about it the same day — with options and a number.
4. The Walk-Out
We walk the finished job together and build a punch list. It gets finished
before final payment, not after. Then the site gets cleaned properly, not
just tidied.
